Wedding Keepsake Plaques · Free planning resource

Wedding Sign Arrival Estimator

Give the estimator the date your signs must be with the planner. Then add, in business days, your proof review allowance, the production figure, the transit figure for that address and a receiving margin. It works backward, skipping weekends, and shows when each stage must begin. Vow Keepsake Studio does not book anything from it; holidays and customs delays are yours to add.

Build your plan

Enter durations from a current written quote and carrier service. Weekends are skipped; holidays, customs delays and carrier cutoffs are not modeled. A zero allowance means you explicitly allow no time for that stage.

The decision behind a wedding signage order

A ceremony keepsake and a table-number set have different priorities. Count pieces from the final room plan, including the welcome point and any separate reception areas. Keep the couple’s preferred names and date consistent, and approve guest-facing directions against the venue’s actual layout.

Keep with your brief: Preferred names, date format, table plan and venue handoff.

Understand what the result means

Arrival − receiving allowance − transit − production − proof review, subtracting entered weekday counts

The dispatch date is an arithmetic checkpoint, not a booked collection. If the carrier, production team or receiving contact cannot support a stage, revise that allowance and calculate again. For an international order, agree who supplies import information and receives carrier questions before approving the dispatch plan.

When must table numbers ship for a Saturday wedding?

A planner is dressing a barn on the Friday before a Saturday wedding. She wants the eighteen Wedding Table Number Signs and the Wedding Welcome Sign at her studio by the Monday of that week. That leaves time to check them against the seating plan. Monday is the arrival date she enters. The production and transit figures come from the couple's Vow Keepsake Studio quote, written for her studio address. She adds a proof allowance that assumes the couple will take a few days to agree the date format. The tool returns the latest ship date and the date proof review must start. That start date is before the RSVP deadline, so she tells the couple the table count has to be frozen earlier than they hoped.

Check these details before using the result

Using the wedding date as arrival
Enter the day the planner or family can open and check the box, which is before the room is set, never the wedding morning.
Guessing transit to a rural venue
Take the transit figure from the quote for the exact address. A barn two hours from the city is not the same as the planner's downtown studio.
Ignoring a holiday weekend
The tool skips Saturdays and Sundays only. Weddings cluster around public holidays, so add to your allowances by hand when one falls in the plan.

Guest Book Alternative Plaque

Estimate the guest count and decide whether people sign directly or add separate pieces. The chosen surface and writing method need to work together, so request a sample check before relying on the finished display at the event.

Wedding Table Number Signs

Confirm the exact table list after the seating plan is settled. Check the number against the centerpiece height and table setting, and distinguish table numbers from guest names so the two pieces of information do not compete.

Questions about this calculator

Does the estimator ship anything or hold a date for us?

No. It only does the date arithmetic from the figures you enter. No carrier is contacted and no production is scheduled. If the plan works, send the same arrival date with your quote request, and the written quote from Vow Keepsake Studio confirms the production start for your order.

What if the latest ship date has already gone?

Change one stage and run it again. A single approver shortens the proof stage, delivery to the planner instead of the venue can trim receiving, and rush production is available on request. Production takes no more than 7 days, so the stages around it are where time is usually found.

Which buying guide should you read next?

All buying guides
Bilingual destination wedding signage

Vow Keepsake Studio bilingual destination-wedding signs should express the same approved guest instruction in both languages while preserving the couple’s chosen names. For worldwide celebrations, assign language reviewers and confirm the venue context before layout. Translation, physical sign count and the ownership of a keepsake are separate decisions even when the artwork matches.

Coordinate wedding signs and personalized keepsakes

Separate guest-facing information from personal keepsakes, then approve the names, date and event wording once for the full collection. Measure each sign's actual placement and identify what may change before the wedding. Use a controlled list for table numbers, gifts and inscriptions so late revisions affect the correct items.

Counting seating chart panels and table numbers

Vow Keepsake Studio seating orders should count physical seating-chart panels and table-number signs separately from guests and printed names. For worldwide weddings, use the selected venue layout and approved guest list to define the content. A chart with many names can still be one panel, while each approved table marker is another object.

Prepare wedding signs and keepsakes for a destination celebration

Separate the signs guests need on the day from the pieces the couple will keep afterward. Approve names, date wording and language choices, then group the order by venue and handoff point. A destination wedding needs a receiving plan before travel and a plan for the pieces after the event.
